About Nicola

Nicola joined Oak in 2026 as Client Services Director, Funds & Corporate. She has over 35 years’ experience working across finance roles in the commercial, trust, corporate and funds sectors.

She has extensive experience supporting local Jersey businesses, both small and large, from an accounting and tax perspective, and has worked within the trust and corporate services sector in both administration and accounting roles. Nicola later transitioned into fund administration, where she has spent over 10 years working with large and complex client relationships. She has also sat on both regulated and unregulated fund boards, bringing a strong governance and oversight perspective to her work.

Nicola is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and is also qualified to teach in the lifelong learning sector (over 16s). Alongside her professional career, she has taught bookkeeping and accounting at Highlands College for many years and, in 2017, received an award recognising her contribution to education, which she collected at the House of Lords.

Outside of work

Nicola has a teenage daughter who keeps her very busy and they enjoy cooking and baking together. She is also a keen reader and enjoys walking.
